Building a list? Use an autoresponder
- Mike in category: article marketing, article writing, blog marketing
I know you’ve heard that the money is in the list (I prefer to think the money is in the email you send to your list, but that’s another topic for another day). Building a list of subscribers or followers is another way to drive unique, repeat traffic to your blog.
Just like many of us use Google follower, Blog Catalog, and the like to establish ourselves in the blogosphere, so too can building a list. The best way to communicate with your subscribers is to use an autoresponder. A autoresponder is a software program that allows you send an email to a list of subscribers automatically. If you’ve never tried using one, you’ll find that a autoresponder is an invaluable tool when you want to follow up with your subscribers, send out a newsletter or whatever you’d like to send out to your readers.
What that means is you can keep up with all your peeps or keep your peeps kept up with you without having to write an individual email for each of your peeps, giving you more time to do whatever it is you want to do. For the blogger and blog marketer alike, an autoresponder is an essential tool to have in his/her arsenal.

Hello Mike,
Super post my friend! I have used auto responders in the past but I am not using them presently. I know I probably should but there are so many other things going on right now that need my immediate attention. I’m sure you can relate to that statement. Thanks for the post and I will keep visiting!
