As this holiday season….

As this holiday season comes to a climax beginning tomorrow here in the United States and right now for many of you internationally, I’d like to take this opportunity to not only wish you all a happy holiday, but to also extend my best wishes for the New Year to you as well. Even during this time of economic uncertainty for many of us, it is my belief that we all have much to be thankful for. Financially, 2007 was an exceptionally poor year for me and forced me to make some hard choices, all of which I wasn’t entirely pleased about. One of those choices almost put me and my daughter in a homeless shelter and had it not been for my mother, my daughter and I would probably still be in that situation. As you can imagine, I am truly thankful to my mother for all she has done and continues to do for my daughter and I. Without her, I would not have been able to work my way out of that situation, which began in late 2007 and of which I am only now beginning to find my way out of now as 2008 draws to a close. One thing is for cerain, I would not be here writing this today if not for her. And I am extremely thankful for that. I love you, Mom, thank you so very much.
I am also thankful that the past year allowed me to find my wife, who is much of the inspriration behind my journey toward earning an income on the internet. Already, she provides a support that, heretofor, I’d not had in a spouse. In fact, she’s not just my spouse, but rather, my best friend, my wife and my biggest cheerleader and as I’ve already said, much of the inspiration behind what I do online. Even though I have not made much money at all through my online efforts, she continues to encourage me to keep striving to achieve success online. As she says quite often to me, “You can do this, you just have to keep going”. And continuing, I am.
Another thing I am thankful for is my daughter. She has made some remarkable progress and despite some setbacks, continues to surprise me in terms of how quickly she’s developing. I am of the feeling that some guy will most definitely have his hands full when it comes to her, simply because she is quite the sharp young lady. Even though you can be a royal pain in the butt, thank you for being you, Boo. I love you and I wouldn’t have you any other way.
Those are the things I’m most thankful for this holiday season. And it’s those kind of things we all should be thankful for as we approach the New Year. My plan is for 2009 to be the year I break out and become a full time online entrepreneur. And I hope you join me on my journey and watch as that plan begins to develop. In fact, if you’re reading this, you already are. And I’m thankful for that too. Happy Holidays, Everyone!!
