Thanks for the kind comment, Dave. I didn’t add tag or categorize my posts when I first started too. I learned the hard way that tags and categorizing your post are important for SEO, that search engine spiders crawl them too. It’s best to get into the habit of tagging and categorizing your posts every time you write a post. Takes a bit of time, but its well worth it. Again, thanks for your kind words

Hi Mike, some good tips for a newbie like me that has only been blogging a couple of months. It looks like I really need to categorize my posts and make use of tags. I’m sure not doing that. Thanks for the info.

While it is disappointing to lose the rank you’ve gained, I believe, given both yours and Eli knowledge, it won’t be long before your Alexa rank mirrors what it is now under your old domain. I would only suggest that you make sure that your web consultant redirects (or points) your old domain to the new one. As always, you honor me with your comment and I hope this finds your well.

Hi Mike,

I agree with your post, you have a great post. I take particular mention about your tips on the blog’s URL and the blog’s title that must be related to the niche and must be exact.

Eli and I have recognized it also. That’s why I’ll be changing my blog’s URL to match the name of my blog. As you know, my blog’s name is One World Realty but its URL is businesspherealty.com. I’m changing my URL to oneworld-realty.com, for this purpose, and my web consultant will be migrating my blog to its new URL anytime this week.

It’s a bit sad because my blog’s Alexa global traffic rank after 3 months of blogging is now 69,678, which means that my blog is within the top 79,000 websites in the world.

I know that once I’ll change the URL my traffic rank will be lost, and I’m back to square 1, with no traffic rank. But that’s life, there’s always a trade-off, giving up one thing to get another thing, and I’m thinking long-term for my blog.
