Makeover Time

As you can see, Mike’s Blog Marketing Tips is in the process of a full makeover, so please excuse me while I continue the reconstruction process. I am redesigning my Drop 300 page to enable me to drop 300 cards without the use of javascript, which Google does not read. Because of this, I wanted to make sure I could still give some link love (due to the fact that I don’t comment on all 300 all the time) to 300 of my favorite EC blogs, so I will be using Linky, a Firefox add on that will give me the ability to open multiple tabs at once, much like javascript except there are a couple extra steps. I’ve already finished the first 50 and have put them in groups of ten. Basically, I’ll be able to highlight a group of 10, right click to enable Linky and drop 10 cards when all 10 have loaded. So you see, it will be somewhat similar to how my friend, Yljien, has developed her javascript tool, EZ 300 EC Dropper, it’s just that I will have to highlight the blogs manually, as opposed to a one click javascript function that opens multiple tabs like hers (and I do recommend her tool if you are so inclined).

For anyone who enjoys writing, blogging is surely one of the most exciting ways to do it. It’s a great way to to get connected with people when they comment on your posts. It works the same way when you comment on theirs. Basically, with a blog, you can reach out to people from parts of the world you probably never even thought existed and what’s more exciting is finding out that you do have something in common – an interest in the topic that you blog about. That in itself is one of the best things about blogging, but when you blog to profit, that could prop things up another level and you’ll find that it’s so much more than communicating with people. You can, after all, earn money blogging if you give it your full dedication and sincerity. If you’re about to give this one a try, there’s a few things you need to consider before even signing up for a blog service. First, what makes your blog make money is traffic. Traffic is the volume of readership you have. This means more people, more traffic and definitely more income. You’ll make money with a hundred daily visitors to your page. You’ll make more money with a thousand more visitors in a day. And then you make even more money when you’re hitting fifty or sixty thousand visitors each day. And there’s no limit to traffic you can get. The second thing you need to consider then is how to keep that traffic coming. This means you’re going to have to be making very smart decisions. The dirty works are given – backlinking, social network promotions, even article submissions. Your verbal prowess is given and your ability to catch people’s attention is there. The more important question is, with the huge number of blogs proliferating in the Internet, what are the odds that yours is going to end up in people’s monitors as you compete with other bloggers who are working just as hard as you are? When it comes down to this, choice of topic becomes very crucial. If you want your blog to make money, don’t blog about the first thing that comes into your mind when you signed up for that blogging service. Think long and hard and think what topic will people probably search about the most. It’s important to realize that some topics are simply more marketable than the others. This means that if you want a topic that makes money, get one that the most number of people might be interested in. Then, you can have that traffic coming and the money that comes with it. You can make money through your blog using programs like Google Adsense or by hooking up with affiliate sites. You can make reviews and get paid for it or you can even do direct sales. If you’re selling a product or service, you can use your blog to promote it. The point is, the moneymaking capability of blogs is established. What you’re going to do is to figure out the ways how to make it work for you. Not all bloggers are successful probably because they were too rash in their decisions with regards to anything that affected the outcome of their blogs. If you give you own a lot of hardwork and logical consideration, you’ll probably be a cut above the rest and be successful. If you want to learn about Blogging to make money you are definitely at the right place. Blogging to make money is so famous these days that almost all internet marketers are doing it. Visit the site to learn more about Blogging to make money now.

There are some myths in affiliate promoting, that attract a heap of individuals to it believing they are true. 1st is that they suppose managing an online business is straightforward and second, they suppose that one can create a fortune through online marketing in an instant. Probably not even ten% of those who are into affiliate marketing became made overnight. There might be some who fortunately achieved overwhelming success in just a brief span of time after setting up an affiliate program, but not a majority of them can confidently say they only had luck. Anyone who is successful in this kind of business would say he worked arduous to induce to where he is right now. Success in affiliate marketing takes time and arduous work, however it’s worth it.

Cornyman!….Let’s dance, shall we?

In your post titled Apology to all entrecard members, you say my argument was: “His argumentation that we have to suffer now more often from 100% Bounce rate without this kind of cheating”.

Martin, you are a straight up LIAR. That is NOT what I said.

I said a “ghost drop” was not as bad as a “drop and run” drop. A “drop and run” drop contributes to one of the problems with Entrecard, the bounce rate. I then informed you that all traffic exchanges (and that’s precisely what Entrecard is) have high bounce rates, it’s in the nature of the beast. I also said it was utter hypocrisy for you to decry “ghost dropping” when your own blog is in a bucket system specifically designed to allow people to drop a significant amount of cards in a short period of time (advertised on the bucket home page as “120 drops in 11 minutes”, WHICH ISN’T GOING TO HAPPEN UNLESS YOU DROP AND RUN). I informed you that the listed blogs on my tool got link love from me, with with an image and text link and a Googlebot visit each time I updated my blog.

I received a call yesterday from Alex, my enrollment adviser @ WGU to inform me that I’ve successfully passed the WGU entrance exam. I feel pretty good about that, particularly seeing as algebra and geometry aren’t my strong points. Next challenge: the $65.00 registration fee. I speak with Alex again on Tuesday, so we’ll see how that goes. If it is to be, it will be, so I’m not too overly concerned the fee will be much of an issue.

As a couple of you know, I’ve been having some technical issues with my blog, 500 Internal Server Errors, among other things. With the help of the great people over at Hostgator, I believe we’ve got that fixed. In addition, you should notice my blog loading in your browser significantly better, especially my 300 EC pages and my free ebook pages. Speaking of my 300 EC pages, I’ve finished (finally!) debugging those pages. The first two pages of cards are each an even 100. The final page of EC is 101. This enables everyone on the list a shot at 300 EC a day.

No, that’s not a trick question. The fact is, if you choose money, there’s no guarantee you’ll have time to enjoy it. If you choose time, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to function financially.

Ever since the creation of the World Wide Web, the search for ways to have both the time and the money is endless. Millions of people scour the Web on a daily basis looking for that one banana boat that will vault them into internet marketing superstardom.
Unfortunately, few of them wind up breaking the code that allows them to live large without spending every waking moment working.

No internet guru is likely to spill the real beans, you know. The beans they use to make a great living without being a slave to their computer are tightly held secrets; its not like they want you taking any money from them, you know what I’m saying? These people don’t want to really share. Of course, they want all that money for themselves.

A big thank you to my top droppers for the month of December:

Regardless of what you may have heard about affiliate marketing, it’s very unlikely for everyone to make 5,000 – 10,000 dollars a month, as there is simply quite a bit competition. Also, no money will fall into your hands without you doing anything for it.

With that in mind, you’ll find some high level tips below that will help you make money with affiliate marketing programs on the internet.

Google

Even though the days of free traffic aren’t completely over, they are surely fading away fast. You can choose to work hard creating webpages that score well in the search engines like Google and Yahoo, although it can be difficult to do. By spending money on for clicks on Google, you’ll have the best three positions on the search engines that matter the most. If you hope to generate web traffic from Yahoo, all you have to to do is be at the top of Google.

I just wanted to thank those of us who consider me an expert. But truth is, I’m hardly the expert. I’ve not made one single dime off any online endeavor, including this blog, I’ve taken part in. It’s a fact that 98% of all the people who jump into online marketing fail. And I feel it’s important for you to know, I’m not in the 2% that makes it work.

As some of you who follow my wife’s blog already know, due to a number of reasons, we moved from Santee, California to Chamberlain, South Dakota, my wife’s hometown. Luckily, we were able to get into low income housing and we get by on food stamps, energy assistance and my wife’s unemployment insurance. I tell you this, not because I seek your pity, but because I think it’s important for you to know the truth.

Now, while I do have a Twitter account, I’ll admit I’m not really that big on it, nor do I spend hours “twittering” away. Honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is. But for those of you who do or for those of you new to Twitter, here’s a short presentation on making your Twitter experience easier and more gratifying. (Note: You can enlarge my player by toggling the little do-hickey on the lower right hand side.)

Found this while researching info on how I might link an image to a PDF for download and thought you might be interested in this. Not only the content, but the technology. I’m actually thinking it may be simpler to develop my ebook library into this type for format. In any case, this is a very nice 9 step guide on setting up a money making blog and I encourage you to take a look. It’s well worth your time.
