Makeover Time

As you can see, Mike’s Blog Marketing Tips is in the process of a full makeover, so please excuse me while I continue the reconstruction process. I am redesigning my Drop 300 page to enable me to drop 300 cards without the use of javascript, which Google does not read. Because of this, I wanted to make sure I could still give some link love (due to the fact that I don’t comment on all 300 all the time) to 300 of my favorite EC blogs, so I will be using Linky, a Firefox add on that will give me the ability to open multiple tabs at once, much like javascript except there are a couple extra steps. I’ve already finished the first 50 and have put them in groups of ten. Basically, I’ll be able to highlight a group of 10, right click to enable Linky and drop 10 cards when all 10 have loaded. So you see, it will be somewhat similar to how my friend, Yljien, has developed her javascript tool, EZ 300 EC Dropper, it’s just that I will have to highlight the blogs manually, as opposed to a one click javascript function that opens multiple tabs like hers (and I do recommend her tool if you are so inclined).

In your post titled Apology to all entrecard members, you say my argument was: “His argumentation that we have to suffer now more often from 100% Bounce rate without this kind of cheating”.
Martin, you are a straight up LIAR. That is NOT what I said.
I said a “ghost drop” was not as bad as a “drop and run” drop. A “drop and run” drop contributes to one of the problems with Entrecard, the bounce rate. I then informed you that all traffic exchanges (and that’s precisely what Entrecard is) have high bounce rates, it’s in the nature of the beast. I also said it was utter hypocrisy for you to decry “ghost dropping” when your own blog is in a bucket system specifically designed to allow people to drop a significant amount of cards in a short period of time (advertised on the bucket home page as “120 drops in 11 minutes”, WHICH ISN’T GOING TO HAPPEN UNLESS YOU DROP AND RUN). I informed you that the listed blogs on my tool got link love from me, with with an image and text link and a Googlebot visit each time I updated my blog.

How to Stop Wasting Time on Twitter
Now, while I do have a Twitter account, I’ll admit I’m not really that big on it, nor do I spend hours “twittering” away. Honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is. But for those of you who do or for those of you new to Twitter, here’s a short presentation on making your Twitter experience easier and more gratifying. (Note: You can enlarge my player by toggling the little do-hickey on the lower right hand side.)
9 Ways to Make Money with WordPress
Found this while researching info on how I might link an image to a PDF for download and thought you might be interested in this. Not only the content, but the technology. I’m actually thinking it may be simpler to develop my ebook library into this type for format. In any case, this is a very nice 9 step guide on setting up a money making blog and I encourage you to take a look. It’s well worth your time.
What I’ve Been Doing Lately and Some FTC Tips
I figure I’m about 99.9% done with now with my EC drop pages. You can now drop 300 EC in a relatively short period of time. In an effort to be original, I chose to use each blog’s banner, as opposed to the title of the blog in text. Not only that, each banner links directly to its respective blog, so those of you on my list get some link love from me, for what it’s worth. I also did that in order to ensure that there’s no excuse, even using my EC drop tool, for not visiting any of the blogs on my list. I made these pages for people, like myself, who don’t always have the required 2-3 hour time commitment it takes to drop on 300 blogs. This tool, and other like them, give you the time you need to drive traffic to all of your blogs more efficiently with Entrecard.

I feel the need to let you know that this post is in response to a derogatory post made by Blog @ jDonuts, where he/she uses a derogatory acronym in order to get his/her point across. The acronym, GTFO, means “Get The Fuck Off”. It’s a two bit gamer acronym gamers use when communicating with one another. This person even went to the extreme to link this acronym to a page on his/her blog to make sure people know what it means with a image of Jesus flipping the visitor off. Far be from me to be preaching the gospel, I am not the most religious person. Nevertheless, I would never show such an image knowing damn well it would offend a great many people.
Top Droppers and some other News
As you may have noticed, there’s been quite a bit of activity going on here on my blog lately. I’ve got my link directory up and I encourage all of you to drop your link in my blog directory for some link love, if you want. Also, I’m working on getting PJ’s bath and body site up, so her customers can start ordering directly thru Paypal. On top of that, I’ll soon be offering digital products via my blog. I’m still playing with the plugin, so it’s still a work in progress. Not only that, I want to get PJ’s site done first, so my thing is on the backburner for now.
Thank you, Kat

With all this stuff going on with Entrecard, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kat @ Candles, Crafts & Whatnot for giving me this award. She gave this to me last week, so I apologize for taking so long to thank her for this. Thank you very much, Kat and irt your comment, if there’s is anything I can help you with, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’d be honored to help.

And that goes for you all, in fact. If there’s anything you don’t get, isn’t working or whatever, just let me know. I’d be more than happy to help.
That’s all for now, my friends
I hope this finds you well.
Thanks and a couple freebies out there I found

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who commented on my post titled “Thank you very much”. I’ve never gotten such positive feedback on a post of mine like that ever before. I am both humbled and honored. Humbled, in the sense, that I am somewhat nervous about being able to top that post and honored in the sense that I am beginning to accomplish what this blog has now become all about. Your feedback has given me much to think about and I hope you’ll bear with me as my blog begins a transformation of sorts, as it drifts away from such things as banner ads like I touched on in my last post. There will be some and I’ve already begun the change, but as things begin to settle down, the ads that will be left are those that will be relevant to this blog.
I’m due to be booted in 72 hours according to Entrecard

Well, well.
This may be one of the last posts I make as a member of Entrecard. It seems that if you even mention the new ownership in a post, they start looking for a reason to boot you out. In my last post, I made mention of the new ownership in a non derogatory fashion, letting you know what I could find out regarding them (which wasn’t much, I might add). Today, I find this in my Dashboard:
“Please place the Entrecard widget visibly on your blog within 72 hours. Not displaying the Entrecard widget visibly will result in your site being deleted.”
I know I’m not completely blind and I know my Entrecard widget is clearly “visible”. I also know that on any given day, around 150-300 of you drop on said widget on a daily basis. I also know that not only do I drop on many of you on a daily basis, but I also touch base with many on you by leaving a comment from time to time. Maybe not every day, but on a regular basis. Now, is that not what Entrecard is all about?
