Because producing content on a regular basis is a requirement of blogging, the need for you (and me too, for that matter) to spend time creating blog posts is essential. (Yes, I know I’ve not been good in that regard lately….just saying)

PLR (Private Label Rights) are a great way to jumpstart this process. Today, I’ll outline some ways you can use PLR content to facilitate this process.

First, some background. Essentially, private label rights allow you to make another author’s work your own. You can make simple changes to make the document unique or you can go so far as to completely rewrite the ebook or article and in either case, put your name as the author.

I’m sure most of you have heard of private label rights articles or PLR articles. If not, I’m about to hook you up with that knowledge. The term “private label rights” applies to both articles and software. In this post, I’ll be focusing on PLR articles, what they are and how you can take advantage of them, regardless of your blog’s niche. PLR articles are articles that have been previously published by an author. Many of these authors will sell you the “right” to use these articles on your blog or website. You can also find them given away freely as a gift for subscribing to a newsletter. They can be used as content as is or as an outline for a post. If you want to use PLR articles, do not use them as is. Let me say that one more time. Do not use them as is. Why? These are previously published articles and Google will spank you hard because your content is duplicated on God knows how many other websites or blogs. And even if you aren’t concerned about how the big G feels about your website or blog, I personally wouldn’t recommend you using any already published content.
