How Important is Traffic?

Trying to make money online isn’t what it used to be. With so many others trying to do the same thing, you can imagine how much competition there is out there. But there is one thing that everyone, whether they’re in it for the money or just for fun, needs.

Traffic.

For the person in it for the money, without traffic they make no sales. And for the person in it for fun, without traffic they make no friends. The fact is that no one who puts up an E-commerce site does so with the expectation of not making any money. Likewise, no one who puts up a blog for fun does so with the expectation that they don’t want anyone to actually read what they have to say. Traffic is the representation of all the people who get the chance to make a purchase from you or read what you have to say.

The Formula for Online Success

This “formula” is one that all successful online businesses use.

Traffic + A product or service that converts = CASH

Pretty simple, huh?

Traffic plus conversions equals cash. Strip all the hype away and it all boils down to that one simple formula. Remove traffic from that equation and you don’t make any money. Remove conversions from that equation and you don’t make any money.

Consider that for a tic or two.

You see, getting traffic to your blog that converts (or takes action on an offer) is the one thing that’s most important in any online business.

One way some people are making money online is thru affiliate marketing. Put simply, affiliate marketing is sending web traffic to a merchant’s web site and being paid a commission on any sales you may make. Here’s where you want to take time and think about what it is you want to promote. Some things you might consider:

Blogging has become an extremely popular method of marketing a product or service. I mean, blogs are easy to install, administer, update and the search engines love them.

But what if your blog isn’t getting any traffic? Uh-huh. It does happen.

With that said, here’s a few ways to boost up your traffic flow:

Put together a list of blog services, like Technorati, for you to ping after each time you post. This is the way for you way to notify the search engines that your blog has been updated. Here are a few blog services you can use to ping your blog:

1. AutoPinger is a service you can use to ping 51 different services. Also, you can register your blog to be “auto pinged” each time you post for free.

Auto Cash?….I could use some of that

As many of you know, I don’t often use my blog as a sales page, believing instead that providing my readers valuable information is more important than making a buck. This is one of those times where I will actively promote a system because I believe this system can help us all increase your traffic to your blog(s).

With that said, now you can get free traffic from one of the best-kept secrets on the Web. This system is capable of sending hoards of traffic to your site instantly and without you paying a one single penny. Auto CA$H Club is a free explosive downline club and will show you how to get free traffic to your site. It’s just that simple.

Here’s what Internet Marketing Guru, Michael T. Glaspie (CEO of BannersGoMLM.com) says:

Today, it’s a fact. Those who are in the know win and those who are not, don’t. Online, as well as offline, the person who has the latest information wins. To be successful, you must gather and keep up with as much information as possible in order to properly analyze the things you’re doing to promote your site. Monitoring your statistics is an important part of what you do online and if you aren’t monitoring your site, you aren’t winning. There are a number of systems out there you can use to accomplish this task and in this post, I will briefly discuss just exactly what web analytics means to you and how you can use this information to your benefit.

How to drive traffic to your website

Even as more and more people have begun to market products and services via the internet, even the best designed site won’t make you any money without traffic. There are two main ways to get traffic flowing to your website, Free and Paid.

Free

One of the most common free ways of driving traffic to your site is through the use of Search Engine Optimization (commonly referred to as SEO). As an internet marketing technique, SEO takes into consideration exactly how search engines work as it relates to what people are searching for. Optimization your website involves specifically modifying your site’s content and coding to increase how relevant your site is to specific keywords and removing barriers to search engine indexing activities. Though it can take a while to see the full results of your work, optimizing your website is a great way to drive traffic in to your site.

To succeed online, you need traffic

Despite the numerous ways of earning an income on line, ranging from selling advertising space, selling products/services or even selling information, achieving success on line will be determined by how frequently people visit your site.

In the same way an off line merchant would want to locate a physical store in a busy area to take advantage of window shoppers, so too do you want to find ways to lead people to what it is that you’re offering. To succeed on line in any Internet related enterprise, you need traffic.
